Has anybody used or does anybody have the http://www.ultimatebodypress.com/ just wondering. It looks pretty solid and while it can't do a whole lot of different things. I think the dips, body weight rows, and leg lifts would be worth while for the price. Thanks for your time.

You have two chairs. Do dips off those. Or the "L" of a kitchen counter. Save your money for when recession hits :)

I agree with fatman, I bet if I took a stroll through yuor place I could find plenty places to dip.
And using objects in your home, you really don't even need to get weights instead, you can do them on 2 uneven height objects that way one arm is getting worked more than it would when even.
Or you can go to home depot and get some piping and make parallel bars.

Thanks for the replys...I guess I didn't mention it but I live in a college dorm. I can't attach anything anywhere. I have been using a couple chairs and my desk for dips. Those have been working great...the dip station I like because I can use it for the rows. I have honestly no pulling type of exercise besides the TNT power cables with door attachment I do lat pulldowns and seated rows. And I can do such high numbers that it is getting pointless.
I would kill for a pullup bar or pullup station but it won't fit right. the pullup station would be kindof expensive and would get in the way (small dorm room). I cant use a regular door chinup bar because the doors are more of just 2 metal beams and a piece of wood cut for vents above it. I have seen those pullup bars that kinda hang on the ledge of one side of the door and then supports itself by bars on the other. That would be perfect for home but I really only go home during the christmas break.
So yeah...no way to attach, didn't want to spend a lot of money, can't have something to bulky, and don't have more then power cables for any sort of pulling exercise (which I would really like to be doing being that I have done so well being consistant in exercising). Also I prefer to exercise in my room that way I have 100% focus on my body weight exercises.
But thanks again for the comments. I do appreciate the help...guess I should have mentioned more. Thanks again.

knowing all of the stuff u just posted i would say get it....it separates so storage wont be a problem....u cant do pullups but u can do body rows....recently i have been experimenting with "horizontal pullups:0i dont know the name)....where i just lay on the ground....pull my knees up to my chest and pull my entire bodyweight up horizontally....so it's a row without the feet on the ground.....
as people have said u could make something....but the materials will probably cost aroun $20-$25.....and it'll take an hour or two to actually do it....for me the cost is about the same because my time is worth money....(a lot of people dont add that in...the time going to the store...researching the design...and actually building the thing)....i'm willing to pay for other people's labor for certain things.....

Well I ended up ordering it and I'm pretty stoked. Like you some of you said LSA...the price isn't that bad and yeah it would be alot cheaper to just build one but I'm not that technically inclined even if I could find a diagram and the time it would take for me to get technically inclined isn't worth it. Thanks for the replies and help everybody.

Well it came and it is amazing. Its a lot more compact than what I thought it would be. Dips and rows are perfect on it. The handle bars are angled towards one direction so if I go one way I hit dips for chest, the other way dips for triceps. Same thing with rows, 1 way for biceps, 1 way for forearm (of course though they are all getting worked to some extent no matter what I do.) It was super easy to put together and its really a lot more sturdy than what I thought it would be. For the money I highly recommend it.

Funny I just saw this. I used mine for my workout last night. For a killer exercise try doing body rows with your feet off of the ground so it's 100% bodyweight. You have to be carful about balance...but it's a real ghood exercise. Glad you liked the unit.

Thanks for the idea. Once I get stronger (haven't had really any pulling exercises besides TNT power cables) I'll try those out. I really wish I would have bought the UBP when I first seen it a few weeks ago. It really is a great investment for its size, versatility, and sturdiness.
