Hello there,
I'm a new member and have started doing the exercises in the 20 level challenge. However I'm at level 2 right now but i'm struggling to understand the full range toe press. I have been shown these before by my physio (had ACL reconstruction last year) but do not understand this part; "Pull your toes up, allow the heels to come down as much as possible." Does this mean that i should raise my toes and the ball of my feet is actually what makes contact with the raised object? And the bit about allowing the allowing the heals to come as far as possible, will they not surely return to the floor? Thanks in advance, I had tried the search engine but found no videos. Google didn't help much either.
:)

it means your heels should be coming down towards the floor

This exercise is like regular toe presses. You toes are on the higher surface than the heels. Imagine your toes on the curb and your heel is off the curb. This allows your calve to stretch further, when you go down with the heel. This gives you full range of motion. In elasticsteel method, this is called Extended length conditioning.

Doing these makes my calves burn like a bastard from the stretch.
