alright im starting a new workout and im a little confused so far.
im doing rippetoes new program which looks like this.
monday
3x5 squat
3x5 bench or overhead press
3x max chinups
wednesday
3x5 squat
3x5 bench or overhead press
1x5 deadlift
friday
3x5 squat
3x5 bench or overhead press
3x max pullups

i also box with my coach on tuesday, thursday, saturday.

for cardio i am going to do interval sprints 3x3 minutes and work up to 3x5 min. i do 40 yard sprints every 20 seconds. i do this on lifting days.

should i box by myself on lifting/cardio days?

also someone told me that i should do the cardio before lifting and then jump right into the weights and should do them in a circuit. but idk if thats such a good idea. what do you think?

If you want to get the most from Rip's program, you need to do the weight work as prescribed (straight sets, no circuits) and do your cardio after the weights. Boxing on lifting days will pretty much kill your strength gains and overtrain you quickly. It would even be a good idea to cut back on the cardio at first.
