I occasionally have trouble getting motivated to workout and look for a different workout to help me get over the hump , that's how I found this site!
This past week I had no energy and really wasn't looking forward to my workout so I started thinking about doing something "fun" to get started. I decided to kick around a hacky sack for awhile and see if I could get warmed up enough to feel like moving on to something else. This is what I ended up with!
Jump rope 1-3 min
5 pullups
hacky sack 3-5 min - 1 burpee for every drop
jump rope 1-3 min
5 pullups
hacky sack 3-5 min - 2 burpees for every drop
(repeat for a total of 30- 45 min)
I have tried this several times now with several variations, divebombers instead of pullups, squats instead of burpees, squat if hacky sack drops on an odd number, pushup if it drops on an even, etc.
It's fun, has infinite variations and can be as easy or as difficult as you want it to be, I'll be keeping it in my workout rotation!
What do you guys think?
