Whats up guys. Im pretty new here. Ive been weightlifting and shootfighting for about 2.5 years now. My maxs are deadlift-310, squat-300, bench press-225, clean N Jerk-180, DB Snatch-65, DB Single Arm Military Press-60. Anyways, Im trying to get more into overall fitness rather than brute strength now. This year Ill be starting ROTC so Im looking to beat the crap out of my PT tests. Which will be hard because Ive been bulking and not really working towards muscle endurance. So anyways, this is what Ill be doing.

Magic 10's for push ups. 10 then 9 then 8 and 7 and so forth. 15-30 seconds in between sets. Repeat the circuit 2-3 times. Each circuit 55 push ups total. After 1-2 weeks, Ill start with 11, then 12, and so forth, always increasing.

Magic 5 for chin ups. Same thing. Always been a weak point for me. Hopefully I can get that up there.

For legs, Ill be running almost everyday. Ill be doing the workout almost everyday as well. Rest days taken as needed.

Every week Ill do 1-2 days of fullbody weight training. Straight sets, adding weight when needed.
Squat 3x6-10
Bench Press 3x6-10
Barbell Rows 3x6-10

Welcome to the forum! You've obviously put your training tome in. Your workout plan sounds good.

Thanks brotha. Hope I can get good and lean before becoming mean and green ya know. Though theres not many members here, the information is great here.

AUGUST 15, 2007

Did 2 circuits of magic 10's for push up and 2 circuits of magic 5's for chin ups. No jogging today. Had work (as a waiter) and running around there is enough lol. 110 press ups and 30 chin ups done total.

August 16, 2007.

Slept good. Woke up, breakfast. Went out for a 45 minute light jog. It was a really nice day out. I did 5 uphill sprints with walks back down. Felt great today. I didnt feel like headin back yet so I did 4 sets of 6 for burpees (with push ups).

Ill probably do some press ups when I get back later.

Kinda tired today. Anyways, here was the workout today...

-Stretch 5 minutes
-Squat Thrusters with 25 lb DBs for 1 minute (5 second breaks taken when needed)
-25 Push Ups (regular grip)
-Magic 10's with Close-Grip Push Ups. (great pump there!)
-Tabata Squats 1 minute
