Hi,
I found this sight when someone on a Chinese Martial arts site put up a link, and I thought it looked great. I`ve been practicing martial arts most of my life and was a pretty steady weight trainer all through my teens and twenties. Now I`m 40 and have been doing mostly bodyweight exercises for the last 4 years.It seems to give me good results and I love that I can do them almost anywhere with no (or very little) equipment. I`m still learning though, so my work out is pretty basic.
I married a great girl and moved to Northern Japan about 2 1/2 years ago. It was a big change from Ohio, but I think I`ve adjusted pretty well. Bodyweight exersises are very popular here and the general level of fitness is suprisingly high. I was especially glad I learned a variety of BWE before I came here because most of the gyms have very little in the way of free-weights. The machines are also rarely adjustable so a big guy like me has alot of trouble using many of them. So BWE are where it`s at for me.
I look forward to learning lots here.
