Hey there

Some guy online told me about this site, because I told him I'm doing my workout at home instead of paying a lot of money for gyms and the lot.

And since I was looking for something new to train my back with (especially my back is in a pretty bad shape... :() I registered here. But all in all I'm pretty happy with the workout I've got for now (still, I might look for something new after a while).

But I don't really find my way around here so far. I never really paid a lot of attention to the names of exercises and just did them. A lot of exercises named here don't sound familiar at all. (Maybe I should mention I'm not a native speaker - if you didn't notice that already - and only spent about a year overseas.)

Maybe it also helps to know that I'm female. I used to do a lot of sport in the past, but took a longer break now so I'm basically starting from 0. Being a girl maybe makes me even "weaker" so exercises should be easy.

Any advice to help me around or any exercises to offer me right here?

Hi Snowflake .. is there any particular exercise(s) you want to see demonstrated? Or looking for workouts? Variety with training = good .. I'm sure we could come up with some helpful links...

Welcomne. There is a special section where all the exercises are explained in detail. Also check the Level workouts. There is also a sub-forum where you can ask for descriptions of exercises that are not clear to you.

Thanks guys.

I guess it just takes some time to find everything. I'm not totally stupid and my English should be good enough to understand it all if I try.

Most exercises I found on here look pretty hard, maybe I didn't find the right section yet. Now I have more time and will take a look around. I've been kind of stressed the last time, maybe that's why I was so lost.
If I don't find what I'm looking for on my own I'll let you guys know.

Your english reads well to me , although I'm not a native speaker aswell.

Welcome aboard.
It mainly depends on your correct stats , abilities and goals as to what routine \ movements you should do..
