I work with high level boxers and do much research on new training techniques. Presently I am getting two young amateur boxers ready for the USA Olympic Trials in Houston TX, Aug 20-26. Beyond our boxing work outs of bag work sparring and technical drills, we use some fixed distance sprints, such as 100's 200's 400's and a a few 800's, but most everything else is done by time intervals. We do use medicine balls and resistance running, but I am always looking for new ideas to keep things from getting boring. The burpee vidio gave me a few new ideas. Thank you for sharing your ideas. Get your heavy bags off the walls and do throws cleans and squats with them.
this builds explosive rotational power like nothing else.
