Just joined. Well, no, actually already yesterday, but I've been busy getting overview of forums. Probably as many others first learned about this place from some Youtube video.

I'm 30+ and while not exactly a couch potato, I'm not too fit either. I used to pump iron in my late teens and thank god for that, I still have shoulders wider than my midsection. I also played basketball quite intensively at that time. However, past 10-12 years I've been basically sitting in front of computer all day all night long and it shows. It's about time I do something about it. I'm past my youth aspirations to get big (just don't care anymore) so I'm aiming for functional strength instead. My current state is kind of a mixed bag. I can still do several pistols on either leg (we used to do these all the time for basketball routines), but I can barely manage about two pull-ups.

So I'm going to frequent here for inspiration and ideas, if you gentlemen don't mind.
