It was given to me as a gift. Since I have other stuff that could more effectively do the same thing, this ball is quite redundant. I can't put my hands comfortably in the handles either, so the most I can see fit to use it for is as a medicine ball for throwing (with a rope on it, to make it come back), or for intensifying burpees (as if they need intensifying!).

Any more ideas for this useless piece of equipment?

Hi,

These balls aren't all that bad, you just need to look at it a little different. These balls can be used well when developing power and core strength. You can emphasis using one arm, so any throws with one arm. For example throws over head with one arm. Or lunging with single arm twists.

Also is used well for strength work with push ups. it provides better alignment when performing a push up compared to a normal med ball. therefore less chance of hurting the wrist. But you do need to be careful when catching these things.

Plyometric stuff like throwing it.

it's sorta fun and helps with power (strength:speed) training..
