Hi, my name is Mike. I've been in martial arts for about 15yrs but things have kind of wound down over the last couple of years. I have a plan, not only to re-invent myself physically but to help children along the way. I live in Indiana and our rate of child obesity is ranked 3rd in all of the USA. Not good. So I have a plan for a fun day-camp kind of thing to try and get kids away from their video games and out doing what they see on their games.
Anyway, a few months ago I bought a book by Pavel Tsatsouline and was blown away. Total body tensions from one-armed push-ups... so simple, yet I never would have considered it. And the mighty Pistol leg exercise! Love that one.
So, it's my hope to gain knowledge and insight from all the people here and maybe I'll be able to spread a little knowledge myself too (stranger things have happened).
