Hey people, I'm from england, just turned 16, now I aint to big I'm like skinny sorta but I got big muscles for my size and a 6-pac (sorry if that came out big headed). But the problem is, I can't get them to grow any more, I've tried making up my own technique of just eating and eating and then training, but my metabolism rate is to quick. Any suggestions on how I could get big easy, and also is tai justu a good fighting sport, I am thinking of starting. I have done tai-boxing for 2 years, boxing for a year, wing chun for 3 years.

Sorry if none of that made sense, it's just hard to explain myself :) Thanks Reece.

what is your weight and what is your workout sceduale made of?

You can get big very easily if you sleep 10 hours and eat 6,000 calories a day.
obviously you will get fat easily too , but you should have a decent surplus to get bigger.

And yeah , welcome aboard.

Yeah I don't know what a stone is exactly but it was something in the order of 5 KG...
we use metric here anyway...

hmm , I believe that if you eat at least 3000 calories , and see if you gain anything I think 4K will surely defeat your metabolism

although most skinny guys really eat around 2K~ and go around clubbing at night and playing football all day. or smth like this.

Yeah sorry I don't know how to work kg lol, I'm 9 stone 13 now anyway if you know how much that is in kg. My average food a day is 2 bowls of cereal, about 8 biscuits, a pie/ pasty, 2 yogurts, then tea (usually pasta and chicken or tuna). And aswell as all of them I'm usually snacking alot e.g crisps, chocolate, anything I can get my hands on.

Oops my mistake, sorry I can't work KG. Well I just weighed myself, that is 9.13 stone.

As for eating I aint to good with calories either but I eat 2 bowls of cereal to start the day, then almost immediatly a pie/pasty, then I'm just snacking alot with biscuits, chocolate, anything I can get my hands on. Then for tea its almost always pasta and chiken/tuna. If my mother doesn't make tea it's chippy. Then I could possibly have more cereal after that.

You have a bathroom scale in stones, not pounds or kilos? Cool! :)

In order to gain weight and size you should eat at least three square meals a day and snack in between. You're at an age when your metabolic rate is high and you need to eat more often than twice a day. It's also possible to eat pretty much whatever you want and not get fat.

It goes without saying that I envy you to death :)

For muscle size gain two of your meals are very important:

- eat a meal one and a half to two hours before training. Make it carbohydrate-heavy, i.e. bread (whole grain), pasta, fruit, especially bananas, etc., with some protein, like meat, cheese or milk. This provides energy for your workout.

- eat one meal half an hour to an hour after training. Make it very heavy with PROTEIN and CARBS. You probably know what are the sources of those - look it up if you're not sure. This meal will provide muscle restoration after your workout.

You'll need to get at least one to two meals in addition to this. Learn to love milk, eggs, tuna, pasta and fruit. If you are able to get lean beef, chicken, etc. make sure you eat that as often as possible. Start eating as much as you can for breakfast - cereal is OK, but you should also eat eggs, milk, bacon or something similar at least on some of the days.

As for exercise, I suggest lots of medium-weight/difficulty exercise every other day, or three days a week. If you don't like using weights, find difficult exercises in this forum (ones that you can only do about five to eight reps) and work on increasing them to more than ten, then find a more difficult variation. Bodyweight exercises build moscle more slowly than exercises with weights, but are probably better for a person in the long run.

And of course, read the forum and seek information.

you could start eating 4-6 meals a day
and some protein would help too

eggs , cottage cheese , cheese , meat , fish , whey shake , chicken breast etc...
