i just wanted to share with you where i do dips..
in my kitchen there is a countertop conntected with another makin a 90 degree angle.

ok, so the group of O's is you.... and the x's are where your hands are... i hope the picture explains it a little bit better... anyways, i just wanted to share with you where i do my dips =D

I use simple wooden chairs. They're murder on the hands and YES, they CAN support a 210 lb. fat bastard.

Lol I did it once, and the chairs collapsed and I had a splinter which went in about 4 cm deep in my hand, nearly cut a vein....

yeah, i tried to use chairs also and they collapsed on me, so i just used this way, which isn't murder on the hands.

I made some bars out of PVC pipe. Cheap and easy, they are a little unstable as well. I like that, it works the shoulders better. I am small though (145#), so I don't have to worry about it breaking, but I do hold on to my 35lb KB when I do my dips with it.
