I play the wooden six-key concert flute.
I live in Co. Clare, Ireland.
I train a small group of people in the local gym, three times a week, and train on my own as well.
In the past three months several women working out with us have dropped over twenty pounds each and have learned to do push-ups on their toes (no sissy pushups in our workouts).
I also love Cross Fit workouts.
I'll be 69 this August. Am I the oldest person on this board?

Welcome aboard.
what was (or is) your peak fitness?

I've gone through various stages of peak fitness. When I was racing bikes and thought nothing of a 100 mile training ride. Running races later when my resting heart-rate was about 45-50. Working in the woods, cutting trees and carrying them out in four foot sections.
Or now, when I can do 50 pull-ups and 50 chins in a 15" workout (not consecutively).
At this point in my life peak fitness means not getting injured, looking forward to working out, keeping my weight down and being regular.

You've only heard about the good stuff. Having a seventy year old body is a lot like driving an old car. Things go wrong all the time. You have to stay on your toes to keep up with it. It can break down without much warning. You have to listen carefully to every squeak and rattle before it gets out of hand. But I'm not complaining. I am very lucky to be able to do this stuff.
I won't even mention my knee replacement....
