I want to be able to do dips at home to complete my home gym. I have a pullup bar I want to hang rings from for this. I've looked on a few sites and most are fairly expensive so far.
Does anyone have any suggestions for where to purchase inexpensive rings with adjustable straps I can use for this?
Other suggestions for dips at home would be great too. I just want to do real dips and not chair/bench dips which I could do on the couch arm.

I think powerrings.com had some rings for around $80. Been a while since I went there.
In my own case, I just made some homemade Blaststraps. Basically I hung some chain from a beam in my garage and attached single cable pull handles to them. They aren't the same as rings, but dips, pull-ups, and the like work just the same on these as they would on rings. You can get single cable pull handles from places like Sports Authority for around $10 each, and you can get chains and straps cheap from places like Lowes, Northern Tool, etc.
Seriously, if all you are looking to do is dips drom an unstable surface, these work great.

i use some webbing strap bought from a hardware store and some of the metal piping 1" and use that as the base of a ring .... it works for dips, pushups and reverse rows ok
would be not so good for muscle ups and similar
cost me about 5 or 10 euros in total

you can do pretty much all the strength moves on blast straps , I have some too , but there hanged from a door bar , so no iron crosses for me.

I should be careful, this is the third post in a row I have said this (mentioning on the TRX and Jungle Gym 2 threads). But when I wanted to make my own Jungle Gym/Rings set up, I was directed to www.strapworks.com. I ordered 2 15 feet metal cam straps. Cost less than $10, without shipping to the UK, which was the most expensive part for me.
I bought a couple of physio handles from a physio site which I cant remember the URL of, im afraid. But I was pointed to a mariner site, where they had some rings for sale. I think it was seattle marine or something.

Because it was bumped, I'll make an update:
I did find a solution. My bathroom counter top is set high, and flat enough on the front that I can perform dips on it. This cleared up the need for any additional equipment. Though, I get so many dips in at the gym these days I have no need for more when I'm home. They've been getting so intense, in fact, I only use the pull-up bar (at home) for grip training right now.
