Hi everyone,
I saw the video clip for "beyond burpees" which showed me a few things I had never considered before and after that I had to check out the site.
A bit about me, I am 33 (for a few months anyway) 5'8 and 150lbs. I used to lift in a gym but I started working out with a guy who was way bigger and could see that I was limited in what I could do with iron in comparative terms. That was when I decided to see what I could do with myself so I started BW exercises (initially inspired byMatt Furey.)
Ross Enamait introduced me to the mad world of burpees and kickass strength and conditioning and I've not looked back.
For exercise equipment I have a chin up bar, a floor, some walls and that's pretty much it. :) Thinking of getting a kettlebell too now that there's a place in the UK that does them for a fraction of the price I've seen elsewhere.
My main physical activity is martial arts and all the conditioning we do in class is bodyweight based. I have also tried le parkour and learnt the basic moves for that. The burpee clip reminded me of the parkour clips I had seen.
Anyway, this looks like a cool place. I am glad to be here. 8)
