Just stop buying them altogether, and stop smoking them all together. No secrets behind quitting drugs. :(

I'll give you the same advice I have Gavin (another board member):
On the smoking thing...man, I'm not going to sugarcoat this, you've got to quit. There's not a single good thing about smoking. I've never smoked in my life, so I'm probably not the best person to advise you on how to quit, but I will say this...
You say you're 'trying' to quit. Trying leaves the option of not quiting. Trying suggests you might fail, that you may not succeed. Don't fall into that mindset.
Don't 'try' to quit. Don't 'plan' on quitting. Just quit. Right now. Here and now as you're reading this, just say to yourself "I will never smoke again" and quit. Repeat it. Again and again until it's a mantra in your head. Find the cigerettes you have and throw them away. Now.
You aren't planning on quitting any more. You've quit. It's done. You've won. And you'll never smoke again.
Feel the urge? Drop and give me 20! Hell, crank out as many pushups or squats or whatever as you can. Scream and curse if you have to. Pledge bloody revenge against me as you push through the pushup pain barrier, but don't give in. You've already quit, remember? Now all you have to do is focus on getting even stronger.
I hope this helps, and didn't come across too preachy! I'm with you all the way. We all are.
Let us know when you quit!

esa,
Take it from an ex-smoker....20 years tomorrow !
Plan about a week in advance to quit......for example, plan to quit on a Monday, the 1st day of the week.
Really psyche yourself up about quitting, focusing on the most important reason why you want to quit.
When you quit and the urge for a cigarette comes, take a deep breath and let it out slowly.
No coffee, alcohol etc.....these things go with cigarettes and will make it much harder to not smoke.
Go out for a walk...drink lots of water.
It won't be easy, but each day you will get stronger and it will become easier not to smoke.
When you feel like a cigarette, remember WHY you want to quit......health, money etc.
BE STRONG and DON'T GIVE IN to the urge to smoke !
And EXERCISE will help to replace the cigarettes with something that is good for you.
I started smoking at 15 yrs old and finally quit for good at 36.....the longer you smoke the harder it is to quit.
So quit now and live a healthy life.
Good luck.....you are the owner and master of your body, don't let cigarettes destroy it !

one tip onf of my old ex smoker buddies told me was that on th last cig he was smoking he decided to throw it away in thei middle of it , along with the entire pack. he never smoked since.
also I reccomend running and intensive cardio cine it kills apetite for godamm anything , and a lot of food ... I think it might work

thx guys for the support have dropped the smoking pretty good.
Yesterday smoked 3 and today only 1.
yes i feel like smoking, but no!
Thing i go joggin or someting to get my mind off, of the siggarets.
I have dropped smokin many times like this.
some times i have not smoked in a week or someting.
But its hardest to be not smoking ever a gain. The temptation of smoking 1 siggaret stil remains, exspesialy when there is other people who smoke.
Think its the hard will and motivation only way out of this narcotic drug.

esa,
In the end it is not hard will....it is motivation.
Quit now.....it will be one of the best decisions you ever make in your life.
It's your life man....don't let cigarettes destroy it !
Be Strong !!!!

I'm in the process of quitting right now actually. Cold turkey didn't work for me, I live with my sister who smokes so I'm always around it. I gave one of my nonsmoker friends my pack and he rationed them out. I spread the pack out over a long period of time. Its been a few days since I've had a smoke and I dont plan on going back.
Its tough, but you can get your mind off the cravings

Devil's advocate here.
I have always smoked and done most of the other bad stuff.
(It is all bad and i wouldnt suggest anyone start with any of it)
Anyhow, i am 40 years old and still keep up with the young men beating most at most things. I have always maintained a high level of general fitness many people regard me as the fittest person they know.
I also have another two friends that are similar to me in age and condition.
If you fill a car with people and pump it full of cigarette smoke for half an hour they will get out with headaches possible nausea coughing. nothing irreversible.
Fill a car with people and divert the exhaust fumes into the cabin and everyone is dead in 5 minutes.
the combustion engine is the major smite to health especially in urban areas.
I get annoyed with all this brainwashed anti smoking propaganda nuts.
There is NO good reason to smoke!!!
