I like to do workouts that work on a skill.....
I work in a small boxing/weights gym ( a real gym and it smells like one ) and I have the great benefit of working out when I come to work when it's not busy.
I work 4 days and break my workouts into strength/conditioning days.
For strength, I work on certain gymnastic positions such as the tuck planche and front lever. I am now right there with the front lever and expect to nail it this week....finally ! :D
The tuck planche training will take some time before I can do a planche....but it will happen.
Mix in weighted dips and pullups to strengthen the chest and back to augment the gymnastic exercises. Also working on 1 legged squats and other leg exercises.
Conditioning days consist of tumbling, various crawls, Turkish Get-ups etc....I like to mix things up to keep it fun. This includes cleaning a heavy bag to my shoulder, pressing it up and returning it to the mat....then repeat on the other side.
I don't do a certain number of anything....just train by instinct.
All days start with 15-20 minutes of jumping rope......and I do various core exercises with a medicine ball or a 55lb uppercut bag., hanging leg raises etc. One thing that I like is to do a rock-up squat with the uppercut bag and then press it overhead when i stand up. The key thing for me is that it has to be effective and to keep it fun !
If it's fun a person is more likely to stay with it....and I LOVE my workouts.
Mix it up....you are only limited by your imagination !
Have Fun.

all this stuff is nuce , but it won't carryover to boxing if your shoudlers are weak as hell........... and you don't work them at all , try some handstand pushups , or jumping rope with dumbells (hey nooen who ever tried it ever got disapointed , the pump on your delts is insane , it also works your forearms and biceps from different angles , dubble unders with some sort of heavy rope are out of this world...)

and yeah it sounds like your having fun...

I also reccomend doing the switch with some heavy duty bands to work the arms that are free at the same time , which makes it a powerfull total body movement you can for example hit the planche position with the bands while doing the motion with your legs , the overall tention in your body will trigger a lot of muscle growth \ fat burn and probably train your CNS) I like that movement a lot

Thanks Koltz,
I actually forgot to mention that I do HS pushups, planche PUs, am very close to doing the front lever on a bar, bodyweight bicep curls on a squat rack etc. ! ( Put both safety bars on the same side of the squat rack a couple of holes apart. Grab the top bar and brace forearms against the bottom bar....now curl you BW ! )
I'm always looking for something new to kep it interesting and fun.
And I work at making it harder ! :D
