Anyone else done this? I got the idea to try it from John Izzo, and I have to say that it is incredible for maintainence. I find it to seriously help with DOMS when I hit the foam roller after a workout. It's a nice, mellow cooldown too.
Props to John (again) for turning me on to this idea.

I've been having some recurring hip issues. Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, nor what was hurting. My hips would just hurt deep down, in various maneuvers, and at odd times. The foam rolling is incredibly effective at working out these sorts of things. Hurts like hell, but you feel great afterwards.
Happily, it's a piece of workout equipment that isn't super expensive, and it's lightweight, so shipping doesn't kill you. Good stuff.

you should try doign switches , the hip join remains in one place and the movement is done by the knee joint
