they should make rings instead , and the guy in the video should stop kipping , or remove his vest cause the force on the bar is the same

They don't make rings but they use rings as well. The portable pullup bar just adds another demention to all kinds of wants and needs. Kipping is great have you tried it? The 40lb vest adds to his overall strength. It's pretty impressive to be able to do that. Pullup, chinups and kipping are all good. It make you versitale.
