My name is Joe, and I'm a 33-YO father of one and husband. Being that I have a full-time job, I don't have much time or money to spend in a gym.

I was really overweight (260 pounds at 6'3".) I've lost 35 pounds by doing simple bodyweight stuff (pushups, crunches, pullups), but I am looking for stuff to really take my strength to another level and add some bulk.

I hate lifting weights, but the last time I was in shape (US Army) I could do all sorts of bodyweight stuff. Found this site thru Youtube. You guys are providing a great service here, hope you keep it up.

welcome aboard , I reccomend taking a peek at my routine I made for overall upper body development , read this a few times over to uerstand it well ( my english and overall writing skills are really bad )
and do whatever amount of reps with whatever frequency per week you need for your goals...

then also throw in some leg work (I reccomend buying an oly bar to do deadlifts at home)
and ab \ core work

most people say they hate weights but some Ive seen are better off with them sicne they do workouts that consist of simple pushups and crunches for lots of reps.... since they aren't really taking advantage of this site that offers BW exsersises for all your body

Welcome to the forum, yes the words are scary, i only know like 1/10th of them lol. Dont worry bout that, ask questions as you go and it'll all make sence with time. You already did the hardest part and got back into working out. Good luck reaching your goals ;)

I actually did deadlifts tonight, for the first time in about 15 years. I did a lot better than I thought I would. Gotta buy more weights :-D
