hey everyone a friend reffered me to this website.
i was a big fitness kid back in grade 6-7 but i swapped schools in grade 7 and things havn't been going well here, i quit exercising, i starting drinking alot and i started smoking.
i quick drinking about 2 months ago and same with smoking and have been looking to get back into shape.
i di about 3 weeks of studys to get a good diet, and was looking into weight lifting programs. i worked out for 2 weeks with weights before i started to study bodyweight.
i believe bodyweight exercises are the best way for me to go and i hope this site can help me! heres the bodyweight plan i've made ofr myself so far! tell me how it sounds.
2.5minutes of stretching
5 minutes of balancing( i have a balancing board)
2 1 and a half minute wall sits
punch punching bag for 5 minutes
12 sets of 1 chin ups(i know i'm weak right now =[ )
3 sets of 15 chair dips
3 sets of 15 push ups
3 sets of 35 crunches
3 sets of 12 push up burpee's
5 minutes of skip roping(sounds gay i know, but its pretty intense)
2.5minutes of stretching to end it
how does this plan sound?
i workout sunday, monday is a break i workout tuesday, wednesday is kickboxing, i workout thursday, i do push ups and skipping friday, push ups skipping and chin ups on saturday and then it starts over again.
thanks for reading!

Not bad, looks like what I did when I started getting myself in shape while back. If you're really worried about your range of motion as far as stretching goes, I'd recommend using resistance to get a farther range of motion, like a weight. That way you will be stronger in that range of motion. Stiff Legged Deadlifts are a good stretch/strengtheners for your legs and back...as for warming up for a workout, just do some swimming or running, anything that gets your whole body moving and pumped for a few minutes, like basketball. Go easy! You only need like 5-10 minutes. Or you could always go straight into your workout, working with smaller weights for warm-up and then going to your max rep if you are powerlifting...
Btw, are you training for endurance, strength, or both?

i'm training for 90% endurance, hoping i will get at least a little bit of strength out of this workout i made.
if nothing at all comes out of it except for me getting more endurance and losing some flab-i will be happy nonetheless.

keep that ballancing board in your arsenal, if you have a partner, play medicine ball catch whle standing on it. Something like that. And no rope skipping is not totally gay  .

ya when i first got it i couldn't balance on it for 2 seconds, but i've been traiing for a month with it and i can do for like 5 mins now :)
i changed it so now i either do burpee's or rope skipping.
(i hurt my foot running so i cnat skip atm)
thanks every1 for the advice!
im hoping to get 50 push ups on my schools sit up/push up test which is coming up in 2months.

wow that's one weak test!
at 15-16 we need to do 17 pullups to get a perfect score and MUCH shorter times for running and they test pushups and cruches(wth they need it for!?? why not test planche pushups????? lmao)
but what the hell is curl ups?

probably crunches/situps (from curling the spine maybe).
w00t. I'm presidential for 16 (my age). Only hard part might be the pullups, if I'm doing them last on the same day as everything else. Most of my weight's in my legs - makes them harder, especially when I'm tired.
