If you want more people here bring them in the admins are doing the best possible work for any admin to do and that's making the site for it to be aaand doing ti well.

every time I hit the site, I check the "new posts since last visits", and I always get a screenful of links. I'd call that pretty active.
As Koltz said, bring more people. Better than that, start a few threads, and join some active threads. The mor e you talk, the more people will talk to you.

Every day after work I routinely check out a couple Bodyweight sites to see what's new. First and foremost is THIS site, http://bodyweightculture.com. Then I go to www.bodyweighttraining.org (http://www.bodyweighttraining.org) and www.gymnasticbodies.com (http://www.gymnasticbodies.com). For the past few days the latter two seem to be M.I.A. and I can't find out why.
Would anyone here know what has happened to these two other sites? Did Speedy close down bodyweighttraining.org? I don't remember reading any posts regarding updates or closings. To be honest, I'm pretty sure that gymnasticbodies.com is being upgraded. I believe that Coach Summer stated he was in the process of getting the website in perfect working order before releasing his long sought after book, but there was never any warning before the site went down. Can anyone confirm that this is the case?
I hope that I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by posting the URL's, but I'm curious as to whether maybe one or two of my fellow forum readers might be able to shed some light on what has happened.
Thanks for your time... and now back to your regularly scheduled program already in progress! ;)

Shut down by the corporations. Don't forget, obesity is over a 100 billion dollar problem in the US alone that has to be cashed in on.

I'm pretty sure bodyweight training.org is kaput, at least for now. Speedy was talking about letting it go and I don't know if any of the members had the time or knowledge to keep it going. It was getting so there was hardly any traffic there other than spam anyway. Coach Sommers' is just updating as far as I know.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm sorry to hear about bodyweighttraining being shut down, but I do believe that most of the forum members over there are members of this forum also. And if they aren't then I'm pretty sure a Google search will lead them in the right direction.
That's what I thought about Coach Summer's site. Thanks for verifying it for me. I (and a whole crew of others) am still waiting on his book to be released, so I'll keep checking to see if/when the site's back up periodically.

Wow that's scary. I hope Corporate hackers aren't working on this website.

I appreciate the mention guys but I did shut it down. I did have someone in the works to take it over but they too agreed that it got so quiet there that places like http://www.rosstraining.com/forum/ has more people there, more active discussions, better information, and while I have a good amount of very knowledgeable and helpful people with realistic advice (PM if you want to know what I mean by that), I just got tired of running that site, not to mention have ZERO interest in selling anything, I just wanted to promote the benefits of bodyweight training, and also got tired of deleting all the porn threads.
I have no ill wills towards any other form of training, but bodyweight is where my heart is. So with that said I said fairwell to the site. I am sure it will be shortly missed, but places like http://www.rosstraining.com/forum/ really have much more to offer that what I was willing to put into the site. So now I promote Ross's site, his theories, and information. Quite frankly, he is very well respected and earned that.

Thanks for the explanation Speedy. Hmmm... it seems I've been missing a website: rosstraining.com. I'll have to check it out. I've got to be careful though and not let myself get back into the habit of doing more online surfing/reading than exercising. I found out that spending more time READING about exercising and less time actually EXERCISING is counterproductive. Who would have thought???
Like I've said before... Work. Play. Rest. Repeat.

www.gymnasticbodies.com has a nice forum too. I check gymnasticbodies every day, and this site only once a week. :$ Sorry guys. ;)

There is a decent forum at Simplefit.org. It's mostly newbies but everyone has to start somewhere, right?
