I am not sure if this is the place to ask.

I read somewhere, maybe on this forum that if you measure your pulse when you wake up in the morning you would know if your NS is over stressed/ over exited.

Any idea how it done?

Actually, measuring resting heart rate (pulse) first thng in the mornig is a way to observe the effects of over-training. If you have a high resting HR, chances are you are overtraining. This could be due to excessive neural drive, elevated blood pressure, or stress (physical or mental).

Lie in your bed upon waking....don't get up. Measure your pulse for 10 seconds and multiply that number by 6. If you get a number in the 80s or 90s, you may consider a program modicifcation. Take this: Lance Armstrong had reportedly a resting pulse of 52 in peak condition. That is CRAZY fit!

bah I ahve this device that measures pulse my cardiovascular short term (10 minute) endurance is decent but my RHT is 80 something :( i think used to be 60-50
although I am overtrained now days a lot due to school and less sleep... more stress


p.s - if you shake as hellduring traning and feel numb and weak without feeling the pump or burn it's time to rest

I know this sounds kinda crazy but we measured a our heart rates in my P.E. class and one of the kids in my group has a resting heart rate of 40! the teacher even tested him on this device and it's exactly 40 bpm. i think that is kinda low.

that's not nececerily good , he minght have low blood pressure in other words his her isn't that powerfull but only works slower which sucks for him

when you overtrain heart rate goes up and so does blood flow , to supply the demands of recovery , that's why cardio training for your entire body is important as high reps to build the transportation system for super fast recovery and growth
