I think it's the most difficult rotational BW exercise.

I learned of it few months ago. Practiced it during the summer. It's very effective and a lot of fun.

At this point there is no video on line that demonstrate this exercise.
It's one of Paul Zaichik's creations, so it's only in pictures.
All that you do is rotate your torso. Your arms are in one line with the rope at the start of the exercises. The goal is to decrease the rope/arm angle to 90 degrees or less.
This is a very effective mid-section, rotational conditioning technique.

So, in the pictures on the site, basically pic 3 is the starting position and pic 4 is the final position?
You're just pulling your body up with rotational force. Wow.. I'm gonna hit the basement and try that now.
EDIT: I have to thank you, you just showed me the most amazing ab exercise I've ever used. *lo (bows)*

If you know the cable exercise called wood-choppers or the like then you're 90% there.
1. You got a rope hanging.
2. Stand with your back to the rope. Your distance from the rope governs the resistance - closer is harder, I think.
3. Turn to left or right and grab the rope with both hands, rotating your torso with your shoulders against your hips, keeping your arms in a "A" formation as much as you can.
4. Now, keeping your torso rigid, lean away from the rope.
5. Rotate your torso against the resistance of your bodyweight.
6. Rinse and repeat.

I may be mistaken, but isn't this exercise on one of the USA videos? Regardless, it looks awesome and I will definitely try it.
