I think this website does a good job to describe it. The concept is just do a regular squat, but as you descend you bring up your heel. And he gives an explanation.
Bodyweight Exercises (http://www.combatfitness.co.uk/)<---CLICK . Then go to exercises, scroll down to lower body and it lists hindu squats. Click on that listing, then you'll see a picture and detailed account on what to do.
