I think this would be the ultamite arm strengthener for combat. I would not start it before I can do 10 good one arm push ups with each arm.
Right now I am following the one arm push up program outlined in this forum.
If anyone knows of a video on jumping one arm push ups, please post it for inspiration.

No there isn't , but some Rianu guy on another forum claims to be able to do clapping planche pushups ( a planche pushup is 2x harder then one arm )

I heard Rianu claims, he just never materialized them. Also I saw someone posted this forums push up contest there, may be Rianu will compete if he is that good.

Rianu ALWAYS delivers - have a read up on the tricks tutorials forum...

see if you can find his strength sampler on gooogle vid/you tube as well... VERY impressive stuff! all built with bodyweight and weighted vests.

His old workout started off with a single set of 60 pullups.... shortly followed after a couple of other exercises with 10 one armed pullups on each arm.... and loads of planche pushups (with 50lb weighted vest i think ive seem him do :? I cant remember).

Yah rianu is pretty strong :)

Sylvester Stallone did alternating one arm plyo pushups in Rocky 2 I think, But it's legs spread, bad form.

Yes I saw that.
I don't know if it counts. He was switching arms when they were straight.

It would be nice to see good form, one arm at a time.

One gentelman in my gym can do 30 consecutive one arm pushup.
I asked him to do plyometrics and he did. This was his first time trying them.
He said that he will do them for a while to make them look nice and than let me tape and post the video. :-D

Holy crap!! I've never even seen a properly done one arm pushup in person. At the gym I go to most people are bulky rugbiers. They look at me funny when I'm using no weights to work out, but no one seems to have a better weight/strength ratio than me and that's all I aim for :)

Now, being able to do plyo one armers...that's a nice goal to have.

Probably best to finish the one arm pushup programs that admins have posted here, than you know that it's safe to work on one arm plyos.

You can count on that being a long term goal for me. Even one arm pushups alone seems like it is going to take quite a while.
