Video leg exercises

I was messing with google and BWC video came up.
There is a part when one of the guys jumps up and puts the back foot on the bench and goes down and than other leg.
Looks awsome. What is that called?

I think you are talking about the Bulgarian squat or lung.
It stretches the muscles on the downward movement. If we are talking about the same thing.

Very strange soreness after this exercise.
Different from squats and lunges.
