I had my friend assist me while I tried one.
It's the bomb. My triceps are very sore.
If you never tried it, do a pull up and than lean back and push the bar to your stomach.
Don't do it if you have weak elbows, cause my friend hurt his.
I had no idea that pull ups can hit triceps like that.

Did you do it with control, or did you explode up and use momentum?

Those have to work the triceps, because the only way to do it is to press down with your triceps.

I can't do one I can bring the bar halfway to the stomach and extend the tris but not lock it in , I felt the triceps like crazy though It's like a pullup with the triceps holding the arms straight the load is fully on the lats and the rom is twice as large which means doing this properly is harder then OAP

So basically if you make your body horizontal instead of vertical you are doing a front lever.

If you just want to see how it feels, but not strong enough to do it-
Jump and try to row the bar down instead of hang and pull yourself up.
You will be able to pull the bar to your stomach that way.
