It is very funny.
I can hand for almost two minutes with both hands. With one hand it's like 5 seconds at best.
I understand that to do a one arm pull up/chin up you must be able to easily hang with one arm.
How do you train to hang with one arm?

Just hang in there

Seriously hang and work on your grip.

Every time you do pull ups hang for as long as you can before letting go.

Almond,
try isolating fingers.
For example hang with both arms but with only 3 fingers. Try different three every time. Than do two fingers. I don't know if one finger is possible. After a while you will probably be able to hang with one arm.

Here we go.

Get your friend to hang from you, while you are hanging form the bar.
(A girl-friend preferably.)

That will get your hands stronger and you will be able to hang with one hand, when the person is no longer hanging from you.

That makes allot of sence Superbeast,

The problem is this. When you hang with one arm, there is allingment issues. Pracising resistance hanging with both hangs will help, but you must do one arm hang too, so that you get used to the alingment.

Guys about that allingment. I think that a grip that is between pull ups and chin ups is the best. One arm pull ups grip may be hard on the shoulder.
