so my first post skipped the intro and went straight to asking for suggestions. i found this site after a friend (who is a personal trainer) to me to look into body weight training. reason being is that i am disabled to the point that the dr. said no standard weight lifting, but yoga/mild cardio. i understand and try not to overdo things...thing is i got fat quick. i was never in model/ trainer shape, but being in the military for years and playing sports always had me in decent shape. what i listed above has always been my preferred method of training so now i'm resorting to whatever new things i can find that look fun and productive. also, grad school is pretty demanding so i really stress that i want to workout from my home or not in a gym that much.
feel free to hit me up with suggestions or pointers!!!

it happened back when i was still in the army while over in the sand box. it was a gun shot wound that went through my right lung and the damage resulted in a decreased lung capacity. i pretty much walk around like normal, but running and intense cardio gets bad. my breathing makes me sound like a 80 year old with emphysema.

Walking and a change of diet will help with the fat and will easy on one. Did the dr. say no more PT like you did for the army?
