These will definitely get you ready for a one arm chin/pull up. The first 2 are for chins. If you can't make it out, the right arm is an under grip and the other is over handed. 2nd 2 are for pull ups. Both hands are over handed.

Make a routine with these, or add them to your existing routine. If you need a routine with these, I have one that I can post that includes the unilateral push ups also. If you give these a try they will help you out a lot.

your right this is a good step toward OAC. I started doing these a little while ago, because I am going to start serious training for them soon.

being honest it is unlikely you could use this exercise to develop strength for the OAC. its a decent exercise in its own right but there comes a point when it just cant provide any more strength and you will have to do more difficult OAC assisted positives eg towel assisted

i tried a variation actually of this exercise and im getting and extreme amount of hypertrophy as well as strengthening and learning how to control your entire weight from one arm to the next. I gotta draw it out and put it on here.

I tried your towel assisted at 3,6,7,and 10 fist lengths on each arm and none of them are as difficult to me as the exercises I posted. They provide to support to initial pull at the start of the exercise to me. It was really to much support in general to me. Perhaps I'm doing them wrong. But anyway, with one I posted, the arm not being worked needs to be as far as possible from the working arm. That and you only need to focus on the working arm and forget the supporting arm. I can do OACs already, so it doesn't matter to me. I was just throwing out how I worked toward them.
