Darn! Sounds fun and I want to try but have no kettlebells or dumbells and haven't built my homemade ab wheel yet.

In my town we have a place called Play it Again sports. I nknow it's a chain, but how widespread I don't know. You should look around for something like that in your town. I found ab wheels there for 10$.

Well the homemade one (courtesy of ross enamait) is around $6 and I have a weakness for homebuilt stuff :)

Completed in 19:54:mrgreen:

The only things I did maybe a little differently are the 10 Jack Lalanne pushups (half of which I did on my fingertips), and I used a 60# DB for the snatches.

Horizontal rows were the same, and I might have done slightly less than dead hang chins due to my height and the height of the bar at the gym.

It was funny to see people looking over every time I did my grunting thing on the later sets of snatches:grin:

Awesome!!!!!!! I bet you wish I had stuck a 20 min time limit on that one.

10 Burpees
5 Chins
10 40# DB swings each side
5 70# DB snatches each side
10 Horizontal Rows
10 Jack Lalanne Pushups

22:17

The extra weight on the snatches really did me in.

Tried 5 Sets of Pain today for the first time.

Time was 19.35.40, with around 20 seconds wasted running upstairs to grab a towel to do the rows with as I forgot.

10 burpees with jump
5 pullups
10 db swings w/ 20#
5 db snatch 20#
10 rows
10 superman PU

The pullups and snatches were particularly hard, on the 4th round I had to try several times completing the last rep on those moves.

Also had to take short breaks after the 3rd and 4th rounds to get a couple ounces of water as my throat was getting sore and dry again

Felt great afterwards though. Not good exactly, but in that beaten-up-on-the-inside feel, to weak to do much, with arms trembling, but not sore or cramping anywhere, feeling very warm instead.
This is the best feeling after a workout it seems.

Might do something else later, or might not.

Great time! Your turn Rick!

Thanks Dave!

I guess the lightness of the db's helped a lot....

But there's no way for me to remedy that now.

Really liking the look of this one - and has a lovely ring to it as well. I'll add it to my "must do" list.

Patrick, I'm gonna try to beat your time. But first, I need some substitutions for:

5 dead hang chins or pulls - sub w/ 5 reps bodyweight Barbell Rows (160lbs)
5 ea arm 60lb snatch - sub w/ 10 reps 35lb KB Snatch
10 horizontal rows - sub w/ 20 reps 35lb KB High Pull
10 jack lalne pushups - sub w/ 20 Hindu Pushups

Do you guys approve?

Nice one Pat!

Parth- I'd say go for it, they look like fair subs, but the 20 Hindus will eat alot of time.

True-maybe sub for 10 divebombers instead?

5x ('m trying to eventually work up to 10 sets)

10 burpees
5 pullups
100 rope jumps
5 chins
10 db swings
10 leg lifts behind head to toe-touch situp progressions. No momentum can be involved.

Easier on the muscles than 5SoP but harder for conditioning.

time-26.21.90
